We are excited to announce a new software update that brings significant improvements to performance, reporting, and usability.

New Features:

  • Updated Components

    • ALEAPP Update: ALEAPP has been updated from version 3.1.8.1 to v3.4.0, providing improved parsing, expanded artifact support, and enhanced reliability for mobile investigations.

  • Mobile Analysis Enhancements:

    • iLEAPP Integration: Added iLEAPP (v2.3.0) to support iOS artifact parsing and analysis, expanding mobile triage and extraction capabilities across platforms.

  • Internal Storage & Workflow Improvements

    • Save to Internal Storage: Added the capability to save and export results to/from internal storage for:

      • Triage Only runs

      • Simultaneous Triage runs

      When SAVE TO INTERNAL is selected:

      • The GO key turns purple

      • The dashboard Status panel displays SAVE FILES INTERNALLY

      Users can later export stored results using ADV → EXPORT STORED RESULTS.

  • File Extraction Improvements:

    • Archive File Handling:

      • Added ARCHIVE FILES key to the DEFAULT submenu.

      • Extracted archive contents are now separated from (DELETED_)MULTIMEDIA folders for improved organization and analysis clarity.

  • OLED Display Enhancements:

    • AUTO OLED CYCLE & NEXT OLED INFO Controls:

      • New ADV menu keys:

        • AUTO OLED CYCLE (A) — Toggle automatic cycling of OLED register information on/off.

        • NEXT OLED INFO (N) — Manually cycle through non-empty register information.

        Additional behavior:

        • Returning to the main menu automatically enables auto cycling.

        • Both controls are also available on the running page during active acquisitions.

        • LIVE USB and REPLACE LIVE ISO keys were repositioned within the ADV menu.

  • Reporting Enhancements:

    • Photo GPS Mapping (Folium Integration): Integrated the Folium library to automatically generate Photo GPS Map Reports.

      Map behavior:

      • Centers on the first photo containing GPS coordinates, or

      • Defaults to the Four Corners Monument when no GPS data is available.

      This provides investigators with rapid geographic visualization of media evidence.

  • Safety & System Protection

    • Internal Results Deletion Warning:

      • If internally stored images exist when RESET ATRIO is selected:

        • GO and RESET ATRIO keys turn red

        • OLED displays warning: “WILL ERASE STORED E01”

This prevents accidental deletion of stored forensic data.

  • User Interface Improvements:

    • Visual indicators added for internal storage operations.

    • Improved menu organization within the ADV interface.

    • Enhanced run-time OLED interaction controls.
